Can I get samples before placing a bulk order?
Sure. We recommend testing samples before placing a bulk order so you can evaluate the formula, texture, fragrance, application, and performance.
How do I order hair care samples?

What sample sizes do you offer?
We offer both decanted samples and full-size products from available stock for testing. Please choose the sample option that best suits your testing needs.
Are hair care samples free?
Decanted samples are provided free of charge. If you prefer full-size products from available stock for testing, product charges will apply. Shipping costs for all samples are covered by the clients.
How long does it take to receive samples?
Sample preparation takes just 1 weekday, and we promise that samples will be shipped within 2 weekdays. Delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method selected.
Can I request samples of multiple products?
Yes. You can request multiple products to compare formulas and identify the best fit for your brand.
Can I customize a product sample?
Standard samples can be adjusted for fragrance and color. If you need changes to a product’s texture or performance, a semi-custom development or custom formulation project may be required, depending on your requirements.
Private Label & Customization
Can I put my own brand name and logo on your products?
Yes. Our private label service allows you to brand selected hair care products with your own logo and product labels. You can also discuss eligible packaging and silk-screen printing options with our team.
Do I need to develop a new formula to start my private label brand?
No. You can start with an existing PRO-TECHS formula and customize the fragrance, color, and branding options available for that product. This can help you launch without going through the full custom formulation process.
If an existing formula does not meet your product requirements, we can assess whether semi-custom adjustments or custom formula development would be more suitable.
Can I test products before placing a private label order?
Yes. You can request samples to evaluate product performance and suitability before moving forward with your private label project. After testing, you can select another existing formula or discuss adjustments to the product you tested.
Do you offer custom hair care formulations?
Yes. PRO-TECHS offers custom formulation and formula development services for brands looking to create unique hair care products. Our team works with you to develop a formula based on your product concept, target market, and specific requirements.
Custom formula development typically takes 2–6 months, depending on the product and development requirements.
What is the difference between private label, semi-custom, and custom formulation?
Private Label: Choose from our existing formulas and customize the fragrance, color, and product branding to match your brand.
Semi-Custom: Make selected adjustments to an existing formula based on your product requirements.
Custom Formulation: Develop a new formula tailored to your product concept and specific requirements.
Can I send you a hair care product as a reference for formula development?
You can describe or share a reference product to communicate the texture, fragrance, application experience, or performance you want to achieve. A reference helps explain your expectations, but it does not automatically mean the same formula can be reproduced.
Can I make changes after testing a sample?
Yes. After testing a sample, you can choose another formula from our existing product range or request adjustments to the current product based on your feedback.
How do I start a private label or custom formulation project with PRO-TECHS?

What is the MOQ for private label hair care products?
Our MOQ depends on the product and packaging you choose. In general, private label products using standard packaging start at 500 units per SKU. Custom packaging typically requires a higher MOQ, depending on the packaging type and customization requirements.

What is the MOQ for wholesale PRO-TECHS products?
For wholesale orders of our ready-made PRO-TECHS products, the standard MOQ is generally 1 box per product. This option is suitable for salons, distributors, and resellers who want to purchase our branded products without creating their own labels.
Does the MOQ change if I customize the packaging?
Yes. The MOQ may vary depending on the packaging type and the customization method. Using available packaging with customized labels may have different requirements from selecting specially customized containers or silk-screen printing.
Is the MOQ calculated per product or per order?
For private label projects, the standard MOQ is generally calculated per SKU, rather than across the entire order. For example, ordering several different products may require meeting the MOQ for each product separately.
How long will it take to complete my order?
Order lead times depend on the type of order:

Custom Formulation: New formula development takes longer, typically 2–6 months, depending on the project requirements.

Our private label pricing typically covers the product itself, private labeling, and standard customization options, such as fragrance and color adjustments. Label design and packaging costs depend on your project requirements and should be confirmed in your quotation.
The final price varies based on the formula, order quantity, packaging selection, and level of customization. Custom packaging, specialized printing, or additional design services may incur extra costs.
Can I change my order after confirming it?
You can request changes to your order before production, label preparation, or custom packaging procurement begins. Once any of these processes has started, changes to product quantities, specifications, or packaging may no longer be accepted.

Container customization depends on the packaging type and supplier capabilities. Options may include selecting a different available container color or requesting custom colors or shapes. More specialized customization can involve higher MOQs, additional costs, and longer lead times.
What packaging materials do you offer?
We offer packaging options in plastic, glass, and acrylic, depending on the product type and supplier availability. These materials are available for different hair care products, including shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and hair oils.
Can you source packaging based on my reference or design?
Yes. You can share reference images, container specifications, or a preferred packaging style. Our team can coordinate with packaging suppliers to assess suitable options and availability. A reference does not guarantee that an identical container can be sourced.
Can I use silk-screen printing instead of labels?
Yes. Silk-screen printing is available for eligible containers. However, compared with standard labels, silk-screen printing typically requires a higher MOQ and higher cost.

What certifications does your manufacturing facility have?
Our manufacturing operations hold certifications and comply with applicable standards, including GMPC and ISO 22716. Other certifications and documentation may apply depending on the facility, product, and market requirements.
Can you maintain consistent product quality across repeat orders?
We use production controls and batch testing to help maintain product consistency across manufacturing runs. For private label projects, the approved formula and product specifications serve as important references for subsequent orders.
Do you conduct stability testing on hair care formulas?
Our R&D capabilities include stability evaluation using equipment such as temperature chambers and centrifuges. These tests help assess formula stability under selected testing conditions.
What is your manufacturing capacity?
Our manufacturing facilities cover more than 20,000 square meters, with 7 production lines, 26 automated machines, and over 100 employees. Approximately 80% of our production processes are automated, with a daily production capacity of up to 200,000 bottles.

Which countries does PRO-TECHS ship to?
PRO-TECHS has worked with customers in over 90 countries and can ship to almost anywhere in the world. Shipping availability depends on the destination, product type, and applicable import requirements.
How long does shipping take after my order is dispatched?
Shipping transit time depends on your destination and the shipping method. Transit time is separate from order preparation and production time.
When requesting a quotation, provide your delivery country and postal code so our team can assess the available shipping options and estimated transit time.
Can you provide export and shipping documents?
Available shipping and export documents depend on the product, destination, and shipping arrangement. If your shipment requires specific commercial or shipping documents, let us know before the order is dispatched so the requirements can be reviewed.
Can I sell PRO-TECHS products in my country?
PRO-TECHS products can be sold in most countries worldwide but we have appointed regional distributors in certain countries and territories. In these markets, orders must be placed through the authorized regional distributor, and we do not accept direct orders.
What should I confirm before shipping my hair care order internationally?
Before dispatch, confirm your product quantities, delivery address, shipping method, agreed shipping terms, and required shipping documents. You should also check whether the destination market has any applicable import restrictions or product compliance requirements.
Can you help with MoCRA registration for the U.S. market?
Yes. PRO-TECHS can assist customers with relevant registration requirements under the U.S. Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA), depending on the product and project requirements.
Our team can discuss the applicable requirements and help coordinate the registration process for eligible projects. Requirements may include cosmetic facility registration and product listing with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where applicable.
